I’ve just stumbled over the website for the Viennese Vegetable Orchestra. Yes, a vegetable orchestra. All the instruments are made from vegetables with some percussion provided by mixers and sieves. Apparently all the instuments are cooked after each performance and served to the audience!! Its really odd, yet cool – some of their music wouldn’t be out of place in a techno club too. Certainly the oddest thing I’ve seen so far this week!
